2026/2027 Grand Prix of Figure Skating: How to Choose Tickets

Each stage of the 2026/2027 Grand Prix season lasts three to four days, with the final in Saransk lasting four. Ticket prices depend on the competition day and sector, so choose wisely.

Short programs open the competition. The set of elements is strictly regulated, the performances are shorter, and a deficit of a few points at this stage often determines the outcome. On the decisive days, athletes skate their free programs: the performances are longer, the most difficult combinations are executed, and medals are up for grabs. The final day is devoted to exhibition performances — they are held outside the competition, and the skaters perform numbers with props, unconventional choreography, and joint exits.

If you are going for one day, the free programs provide the maximum athletic competition, while the exhibition performances provide the maximum spectacle. Tickets for these two days sell out faster than others, so it's best to book them first.

The seats along the long sides offer a clear view of the entire rink: from here, you can clearly see the program and the distribution of skaters. Seats behind the short sides are located closer to the jump approaches, but some elements are performed at the far end of the rink. The lower rows create a sense of presence, although the side partially obscures the view. The middle tiers offer the best balance of price and view, and the upper rows are the most accessible category: you can see the entire rink, but fine details are lost.
