Arena Metallurg

Arena Metallurg is a sports facility that is the pride of Magnitogorsk. It is located in a picturesque coastal park area on the left bank of the Factory Pond, just two kilometers from the city center. This ice arena is the home field for the Metallurg team playing in the Kontinental Hockey League. The Magnitogorsk Youth Hockey League team, the Steel Foxes, also hold their matches here. It was named Arena Metallurg after a competition organized by OJSC MMK and HC Metallurg, at which the real name was chosen.

Metallurg Arena is a modern sports facility that can accommodate up to 7,700 spectators. Thanks to mobile stands, the capacity of the main arena can change depending on the events taking place. Here you can see not only hockey matches, but also exhibitions, concerts and fairs. According to the Finnish experts who led the construction of this ice palace, the Metallurg Arena meets all the requirements of modern sports facilities and is not inferior to the best arenas of the National Hockey League.

For true connoisseurs of hockey and comfort, there are 29 VIP boxes located on the second floor of the central stands. Each of them is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including conference tables, TVs and comfortable furniture.
