Several figure skating championships are planned in Syzran
The strongest athletes from 10 regions of the country will attend the events. The first day of the competition will be dedicated to the performances of the holders of the 2nd sports category, who will present free programs, attracting the attention of the audience with their originality and artistry. In addition, the program of the first day will include short programs of candidates for master of sports and a team award ceremony.
The second day of the competition will bring figure skaters of the 1st sports category onto the ice, who will also demonstrate free programs, and then their performances will be repeated by more experienced athletes with CCM qualifications. This will be followed by a ceremony to award the winners. It is worth noting that admission to the events is free.
Figure skating is actively developing in Syzran, and these March Syzran Arena will host synchronized figure skating competitions, which will be attended by athletes from 40 cities Russia. This sport is under active development in the country.
Syzran has become a center of attraction for figure skating since the opening of the new ice palace in 2016, which was built in two years. "Syzran Arena" can accommodate 800 spectators in ice arena mode and 2,500 visitors in concert hall mode.
Talented young figure skaters such as Irina Kurakina, Adelina Bakhtiyarova and Valeria Ilmeneykina have already glorified their city.
