Alexandra Trusova was born on June 23, 2004 in the city of Ryazan. She got on skates for the first time at the age of 4. First, roller skating, but the child really liked skating, and she was sent to figure skating. Sasha's first coach was Olga Shevtsova, who immediately noted the girl's good physical data, as well as her endurance and incredible jumping ability. By the age of 8-9, the future champion was already performing double jumps. Soon, the family moved to Moscow. At that moment, the young athlete realized that figure skating in her life was not just a temporary hobby. For three years she trained at the Sambo-70 sports school with Alexander Volkov. This is the same person who delivered Trusova's cool jumping technique. By the age of 11, Trusova had mastered the cascade, which included a triple jump.
In 2015, Alexandra fulfilled the standard of a candidate for master of sports.
In 2016, she joined the team of the famous coach Eteri Tutberidze.
Alexandra really showed herself for the first time in the 2017/2018 season. In 2017, at the stage of the Junior Grand Prix in Australia, she confidently took first place.
In September 2018, in Kaunas, Lithuania, at the stage of the Junior Grand Prix, Alexandra Trusova made the most difficult quadruple lutz jump in the history of women's figure skating. In March, the junior world championship took place. There Trusova won gold. In the free program, she scored a record at that time and absolutely cosmic 92.35 points for technique and performed two quadruple jumps: salchow and sheepskin coat. Before that, girls had never been able to do this at all.
In the fall of 2019, Trusova started the season brilliantly and became the winner in Japan at the Japan Open tournament. At her performance, Sasha performed four quarter jumps in one program, which happened for the first time in women's singles. Won the Skate Canada Grand Prix. At the tournament, the skater set two new records for the number of points scored for a free program (166.62) and for 2 programs in general (241.02).
In March 2020, Trusova was supposed to represent our country at the World Championships, but it did not take place due to the coronavirus. Instagram saves, and the athlete posted a video to her account where she performs her free program with five quadruple jumps. This record-breaking girl can't be stopped.
In the spring, it became known that the athlete changed her coach and moved to the Evgeni Plushenko Academy.
In the new season, Alexandra will be one of the favorites and I would like to wish her new victories and new jumps.
