DK Vyborgsky

On the site where the Vyborg Palace of Culture stands today, there was an unfinished building erected by the Vyborg Cooperative Society between 1913 and 1916. Later, by the tenth anniversary of the October Revolution, this building became a symbol of the cultural revival of the working-class district of Vyborgskaya Storona. In 1937, it came under the management of the military-metal industry trade union, and in the 1970s, a large-scale reconstruction was carried out.

Today, the Vyborg Palace of Culture is a modern multifunctional center capable of accommodating up to two thousand visitors. It hosts vibrant concerts of both popular artists and classical music performers, theatrical productions by famous Russian and European troupes, as well as private theater performances. The complex occupies an area of ​​4,758 square meters, a significant part of which is occupied by the Vyborg Garden - an open area for cultural recreation.
