Russian Junior Championship 2025 in Saransk

«Ogarev Arena» (Saransk) invites you to the Russian Junior Figure Skating Championship on February 8-9, 2025.

The Figure Skating Federation annually holds the Junior Championships. Medals are awarded in 4 disciplines: men's and women's singles, pairs and ice dancing. In 2025, for the second time in a row, the tournament will be held in Saransk, in a multifunctional arena with a capacity of almost 8,000 seats.

Tight competition, unique programs, sophisticated techniques - all this makes junior competitions a spectacle, intense and interesting. Single skaters present free and short programs to the jury, pairs also show free and short skates, and dance pairs present free dance and rhythm dance.

In 2024, the winner among men was Arseny Fedotov, who acquired the status of a two-time champion of Russia among juniors. His direct rival Lev Lazarev, again, as in 2023, was awarded a silver medal. Ivan Ramzenkov became the third prize-winner of the Championship with a bronze medal.

The best among the girls was Margarita Bazylyuk, who captivated the judges with a triple Axel, a cascade of triple Lutz and sheepskin coat, a quadruple Salchow and other technically complex elements. Alisa Dvoeglazova received silver, and Lidiya Pleskacheva received bronze. For all three winners, these medals were the first in the Russian Championship.

In pair skating, the podium was taken by Anastasia Chernyshova and Vladislav Vilchik, Vlada Selivanova and Viktor Potapov, Alisa Blinnikova and Alexey Karpov. In ice dancing, the winners were Ekaterina Rybakova and Ivan Makhnonosov, Anna Kolomenskaya and Artyom Frolov, Anna Shcherbakova and Egor Goncharov.
