Welcome to the ice at Yubileiny, home of the Russian figure skating school!
Yubileiny is a place where figure skating legends are born and which inspires generations of athletes. The walls of this palace remember the successes of outstanding champions, and the ice arena has become a starting point for many rising stars. A unique atmosphere is created in the center of St. Petersburg, where history and modernity meet in a single dance. For figure skating fans, the September skates offer a unique opportunity to glimpse into the athletes' creative process before the official competitions.
Over the course of two days, September 27 and 28, 2025, leading Russian figure skaters will demonstrate their short and free programs. Spectators will be treated to a riot of emotions: the refined elements of men's and women's singles skating, the dizzying lifts and throws of pair skating, and the enchanting plasticity and dynamics of dance duets. Each performance at these skates turns into a mini-performance, where athletes share their stories, dreams, and ambitions for the upcoming season.
The main distinguishing feature of these skates is their unique atmosphere. There is no strict judging or scoring, allowing the athletes to relax and skate for the audience, feeling their support. The Yubileiny Arena traditionally attracts full stands, as St. Petersburg audiences are known for their warmth and deep understanding of figure skating. The applause of thousands of fans is the ultimate reward for the risk-taking, courage, and beauty of their performances.
The upcoming performances promise to be a highlight of the season, full of intrigue and discovery. Some athletes will surprise with new styles, while others will focus on challenging technical elements. But one thing is certain: the test skates at Yubileiny are more than just a sporting event, but a true celebration of grace, skill, and an unwavering will to win, which will set the tone for the entire upcoming season and remain in the hearts of spectators for a long time. Tickets for the Russian National Figure Skating Team are available for purchase on our website.
