The main start of the Russian figure skating season will take place in Chelyabinsk. The Traktor Ice Arena will host the Russian Championships—a competition that will determine the country's strongest figure skaters and form the core of the national team for key tournaments. Ticket sales are now open.
The championship program covers all figure skating disciplines. Single skaters compete in complex jumping elements and step sequences, pairs demonstrate lifts, twists, and throws, and dance duos compete for points in the rhythm dance and free dance. Each day of the competition has its own program, so tickets are available for either a single day or for the entire tournament.
This is Chelyabinsk's fifth Russian Championship in the city's history. The previous editions took place in the 1992/1993, 2016/2017, 2020/2021, and 2023/2024 seasons, and in March 2026, the Traktor Arena hosted the Russian Grand Prix Final.
